Good Grief is back: Two Years, Two Grieving Parents, One Big Night

Christie & Tyson Young lost their little boy Ziggy, in February 2024. They’re still heartbroken, still figuring it out, and still absolutely convinced that laughter is the best medicine. Good Grief 2 celebrates what would have been Ziggy’s second birthday because if you’re going to cry, you may as well do it laughing.

Headlining this year is the outrageously funny Ben Knight, supported by an exceptional line-up of emerging comedians.

Not many comedy shows start with a story about losing a child. But if you need a reason to laugh, a reason to feel something, or just a really good night out, this is it.

All profits go to Hummingbird House, Queensland’s only children’s hospice.

Ticket Prices:
Adult 18+ Ticket: $40.00 ea + booking fee*
Table of 10: $350.00 ea + booking fees*

Groupon/Scoopon/Cudo/Deals vouchers are not valid for this performance. Online ticketing will close 4 hours prior to the show on the day of the event. After this time, tickets will be available for purchase on the door unless sold out prior. The Sit Down Comedy Club is licensed – strictly no admittance to people under 18 years of age. Performer line up is correct at time of publication, however is subject to change without prior notification and at the discretion of management. Some performance concepts and language may offend. Filming may be occurring in the venue for this performance. Seating allocated by SDCC depending on booking group sizes and chronological order of bookings. PLEASE NOTE: You may be seated at a table with other booking groups.
